Description of Bensulfuron-methyl 10%WP:
The scientific name of Bensulfuron-methyl is 2-Methyl benzoate, and its container features are as follows:
1. The active ingredient of its pure products is greater than 96%;
2. A white and slightly yellow odorless solid;
3. Melting point: 185-188℃;
4. Vapor tension: 0.173×10-5 KPa (in the temperature of 20℃, it equals to 1.3×10-5 mm Hg)
5. Solubility: it changes with pH values vary in buffer aqueous solution which containing sodium
phosphate when in the temperature of 25℃:
--pH=7, its solubility is 120mg/l;
--pH=8, its solubility is 1200mg/l
--In micro-alkaline aqueous solution (pH=8), it is very stable;
--In acidic aqueous solution, it is slow degradation;
--In ethyl acetate, dichloromethane and acetone, it is stable;
--In methanol, it may decompose.
6. It is generally processed into wettable powder (10%WP). Application of Bensulfuron-methyl 10%WP:
With the features of low toxicity and conduction with inner absorption, Bensulfuron-methyl is rapid spread in the water for the grass roots and the leaves to absorb, and then transfer to weeds to cause them necrosis. So, it is widely applied to paddy field to eliminate the weeds.
